Brown's Hotel

Numerous pubs across South Wales lay claim to a Dylan Thomas connection, but the poet was such a regular here that he famously gave out its phone number as his own. Built in 1752 but recently renovated, it's still a cosy spot for a drink, and the pizza is excellent – especially the one topped with cockles and laver bread.
