Yemaya Island Hideaway & Spa

Top choice in Little Corn Island

Yemaya offers the most luxurious accommodations on the island and boasts professional service to match. The 17 fan-cooled rooms are stylish, bright and comfortable and offer fantastic sea views through their large glass sliding doors, which open onto porches with comfy bamboo chairs. Five of the rooms even have their own infinity plunge pools, and the beach below is sumptuous.

The restaurant, set on a wide deck with waves crashing on the rocks below, offers ambitious cuisine that makes use of ingredients grown in the hotel's own organic gardens. Yoga classes are offered in a fan-cooled pavilion surrounded by trees and on a seaside platform, and there are three massage studios in the banana groves. Another perk is the very comfortable transfer from Great Corn (US$40 per person) on the resort's own boat, which sure beats the hot and crowded panga. All in all, if you can afford it, this place is a wonderful treat.
