Un Posto a Milano

Milan

This country cascina (farmstead) was a derelict ruin until a collection of cooperatives and cultural associations returned it to multifunctional use as a restaurant, bar, social hub and guesthouse. Delicious salads, homemade focaccia, soups and snacks are on offer throughout the day at the bar, while the restaurant serves up modern Italian food, with an emphasis on vegetarian dishes, using locally sourced ingredients.

Children are particularly welcome here. High chairs are provided; there's a children's menu and a lovely garden for postprandial playing.
