Located on the back (east) side of the Organ Mountains, Aguirre Spring sits at the base of the rocky cliffs with sweeping views of the Tularosa Basin. The setting is quite dramatic. The 55 campsites are first-come, first-served. The campground is quite popular, come early on weekends. Two hiking trails leave from here.
