Shen Xi Soup

Chinatown & the CBD

The health-giving soups simmering in large vats here sound straight out of a magic-potions manual – think 'Gingko Pork Tripe Pepper Soup', 'Ten Tonic Ginseng Chicken Soup' etc. The latter is our favourite, the tender meat falling off the bone. The staff will tell you not to drink cold beverages for two hours after consuming the soup for medicinal reasons.
