South Bay heads who know descend on this tiny Korean-American fusion takeout grill, built into the back of a liquor store with a few outdoor tables. It specializes in burgers and re-imagines other greasy-spoon delights. The massive Napoleon comes topped with bacon, three cheeses, greens, fried egg, braised short rib, Korean aioli and truffle parmesan fries – whew!
It also does miso-glazed salmon, braised short-rib sandwiches, fried chicken and pork belly plates. There can be a long wait, and if you don't want to sit outside, there's a new sit-down location in Hermosa Beach.
