Bodaeng

Krabi Province

This place is an old-fashioned hippy vortex with basic bamboo bungalows and a couple of newer wood huts with their own bathrooms, set in the trees behind Hat Yao. There are no fans (sea breezes only) or wi-fi, shared bathrooms have squat toilets and there's limited electricity. But the grinning matriarch owner is a charmer and the location is right by the beach.
