Cumaceba Amazon Lodge

Amazon Basin

Rustic Cumaceba Lodge, in operation since 1995, is about 35km downriver from Iquitos. It has 15 screened rooms with private showers, and focuses on local adventure trips – although not in primary jungle. Guides speak English, French and even Japanese.

The same company also runs Cumaceba Botanical Garden, which places an emphasis on studying rainforest plants in addition to wildlife watching.

It has an office in Iquitos.
