This magical place some 3km south of town enjoys sweeping views from its wonderfully maintained gardens. It's a rustic yet charming experience with adobe-constructed, candlelit rooms and a tail-wagging dog to welcome you. The rooms have stone floors, terra-cotta roofs and are decorated with locally made handicrafts, while the on-site restaurant is superb. The Los Sapos archaeological site is on the property.
Solar powered electricity is available and there's even hot water and wi-fi too for creature comforts. A variety of packages are available including activities, which make sense if you stay here since it's so far from town.
