Cottage dining, traditional and hearty, but fine if that's what you're in the mood for. Expect classics such as rarebit and quiche for lunch, and chicken Kiev, Cumberland sausage and mash as well as steak-and-kidney pudding for dinner. It's just off Ambleside's main street.
