Around since the 1930s, memorabilia-filled Chez Louisette – run by Richard and Armand today – is an icon within Paris’ largest flea market, the Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen. It's not the bœuf bourguignon, sautéed veal or homemade desserts that draw the crowds, however, but the old-time singers and accordion players belting out traditional chansons (tunes) by Piaf and other classic French singers.
Bring coins to tip the performers.
