This ex-army garrison – taken over by squatters in the 1990s and converted into a free-living commune – is home to several clubs, bars and concert venues. It generally comes to life after 11pm daily in summer, and on Friday and Saturday the rest of the year. The quality of the acts varies, though there's usually a little of something for everyone.
It's certainly not for the genteel.
