Tahmis Kahvesi

Türk kahvesi (Turkish coffee) so thick you could stand a spoon in it. Coffee has been served here since 1635. Today Tahmis Kahvesi occupies both the historic original building and an outdoor terrace across the road (cooled by jets of water mist during hotter months). Try the local menengiç kahvesi (a coffee-like drink made from roasted pistachio tree seeds).
