Band playing tuba and accordian in bar to entertain customers, U Fleku.

U Fleků

Prague

A festive warren of drinking and dining rooms, U Fleků is a Prague institution, though it's usually clogged with tour groups high on oompah music and the tavern’s home-brewed, slightly overpriced, 13-degree black beer (69Kč for 400mL). Purists grumble but go along anyway because the beer and atmosphere is good, though tourist prices have nudged out many locals.
