Lone Pine Hotel

Dating back to the 1940s, this is one of Batu Ferringhi’s oldest – and best – resorts. The 90 rooms are spacious and bright; a few offer personal plunge pools or private gardens. The grounds have a stately, national-park-like feel, with hammocks suspended between the pines (actually casuarina trees) and a huge pool as a centrepiece.
