Luxurious Zé Maria boasts spacious hardwood rooms and a stunning view of the Morro do Pico from its pool. While it's hard to fault the rooms, lovely grounds or friendly and professional staff, it's important to note that it's a large and popular hotel which doesn't really offer the splendid isolation that many seek on the island.
