Located in the centre of ‘town’ (we use that term lightly), Hótel Bláfell has smart monochrome rooms (some timber-lined), a sauna and a superb guest lounge with open fire. The hotel also has quality two-bedroom apartments in town, and owns Hotel Post next door.
Don’t be put off by the featureless decor of the hotel restaurant – the evening menu has fabulous seafood soup and lots of locally farmed lamb (mains 1950kr to 4500kr).
