Atuncolla

Lake Titicaca

Just north of Sillustani, Atuncolla offers turismo vivencia (homestays). You can help your host family with farming, hike to lookouts and lesser-known archaeological sites, visit a tiny museum and eat arcilla (edible clay), a delicacy in this area. Served up as a sauce on boiled potato, it tastes smoked and goes down surprisingly well. Friendly Elifeo will help organise everything.
