This is the original branch of this homey, award-winning and royally patronised restaurant. Expect a clientele of large families and middle-aged ladies, and a cuisine revolving around full-flavoured, largely seafood- and vegetable-heavy central and southern Thai dishes. The crab meat in curry powder remains a public favourite, as does the green curry with fishballs. No reservations. Last orders at 7.30pm.
