Hôtel des Cascades

In a wonderful location perched above the Cascades d'Imouzzer, this hotel is set in a riotous succulent garden with tennis courts. Most of the slightly stuffy rooms have balconies or private terraces, but bathrooms could use some modernising. There's a whiff of the institutional about the place, made up for by the verdant setting.

There’s a licensed restaurant (well-portioned mains Dh80). Tour groups arrive at the restaurant around 12.30pm, so try and time a lunch visit before or after. Paths descend 4km from the garden to the cascades. Breakfast is Dh40.
