The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is the theater wing of the huge Denver Performing Arts Complex. It has eight theaters, making it the country's largest nonprofit theater organization (and an easy place to turn for highbrow entertainment). Productions include everything from traveling Broadway musicals to locally produced plays and experimental theater.

Theater junkies will enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the different theaters, dressing rooms, design studios and costume shops. Held every Monday and Saturday at 10am, the tour lasts around 90 minutes ($12).
