Ensconced in a paradisaical lakefront setting within the Cerro Cahuí biosphere reserve, this jungle-style lodge offers a bank of rooms with full-wall roll-up blinds to give you the sensation of sleeping in the open air. A few lakeside bungalows offer a bit more seclusion. It also has a grassy campground with thatched-roof shelters for slinging hammocks, and a large bookcase lending library.
The Gringo Perdido is 3km along the north shore from the main Tikal road.
