Gustav III’s Paviljong

Gustav III’s Paviljong is a superb example of late neoclassical style; the furnishings and decor reflect King Gustav III’s interest in all things Roman following his Italian tour in 1782. This also happens to be the place he left from when he went to the masquerade ball at the Opera in 1792, where he was assassinated. Open by guided tour in summer.
