Salish Lodge & Spa

Here is a beautiful resort that sits atop 268ft Snoqualmie Falls. This hotel doesn't rest on its well-located laurels: the modern amenities combined with rustic Pacific Northwest charm (imagine enjoying the warmth of a fireplace while lounging on a memory foam mattress) make this a quintessential luxury lodge getaway.

Twin Peaks fans know the hotel as the Great Northern; the exterior of the lodge (before it was remodeled) appeared in the opening credits, and an observation point near the parking lot offers the same view. Visitors can also see the falls from the lodge’s dining room or hike to them. While fans of the TV show will get an extra kick out of the experience, you don't need to have watched to be awed by this place.
