This high-tech complex (formerly Amsterdam ArenA) with a retractable roof is the home of four-time European champions Ajax, the Netherlands' most famous football team. Football games usually take place on Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons from August to May. The arena also hosts big-name live-music shows. It's about 7km southeast of central Amsterdam, easily accessible by metro.
