Pelican Inn

The oh-so-English Pelican Inn lures in visitors almost as much as the beach itself. Hikers, cyclists and families come for pub lunches inside its dark, timbered restaurant and cozy bar, perfect for a pint, bangers and mash and a game of darts. Enjoy the lawn in sunshine or warm up beside the open fire when it's colder.

Upstairs are seven cozy rooms (from $224) with half-canopy beds.
