Heart of the City Farmers Market

Bringing farm freshness to the city's concrete-paved center since 1981, this nonprofit, farmer-operated market is on a mission to provide local, affordable, healthy food to low-income inner-city communities. Seasonal scores include organic berries from Yerena Farms, Buddha's-hand citrus from De Santis Farms and dry-farmed (water-saving) tomatoes and fruit from Miramonte Farms Organics. Bargain prices.
