The calm spaces, potted plants, mandala ceilings and giant gilded statues create an appropriately contemplative mood for quiet meditation at this colourful modern temple. The complex is dedicated to Kuan Yin, the Buddhist goddess of compassion, represented by the central statue in the main building.
There's an excellent vegan canteen behind the complex staffed by volunteers and monks.
