Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa

Sentosa Island

Singapore's only true beachfront resort is ideal for a short family break. Rooms are light, chic and tropical, in calming hues of cream and pistachio green. Service is top notch, and the huge kid-friendly pool area, which has children's water slides and leads down towards Siloso Beach, is extremely inviting.

The resort has no fewer than five restaurants, and the free shuttle bus into central Singapore is especially handy.
