Built in 1999, Wuksachi Lodge is the park's most upscale option. But don’t get too excited: the wood-paneled atrium lobby has an inviting stone fireplace and forest views, but the motel-style rooms are fairly generic, with coffeemakers, mini fridges, oak furniture and thin walls. The location near Lodgepole Village, however, is lovely and staff members are friendly and accommodating.
The superior rooms sleep between two and six people. They are spread out over three three-story buildings a short walk from the lobby and restaurant and from each building's respective parking lot. If you have a lot of gear, it's best to ask for help lugging things to your room. A pizza terrace opens in the summer months. Wi-fi can be very patchy.
