Super-central on a noisy street, JJ Midcity makes for a perfectly comfortable stay, and reduced 12-hour rates make it even more affordable if you're just waiting for a ferry. Cheaper rooms are snug and most are windowless, but they're very clean with bright splashes of colour. The top floor cafe (breakfast included with full room rates) and bar is good, with city views, cocktails and occasional karaoke.
