Discovery Island Resort

Coron Town

This dive-focused resort is on a small island just a five-minute boat ride from town (free transfers). A nice mix of native-style fan rooms with huge beds and roomy if somewhat musty air-con rooms. Rooms slink up a hill and have furnished sea-facing balconies. The restaurant, with sunset views through the mangroves, is a delight, as is the swimming pool.

Hostess with the mostest Riza is as helpful as can be. The dive centre is expensive for Coron but has quality gear and an office on the mainland inside Blue Moon Restobar.
