Gad Gha Kum Lodge

Top choice in Amazon Basin

This is the nicest of several good lodges on the La Merced–San Ramón road: vast peaceful grounds, its own private waterfall trail, large well-appointed cabins with terraces, a pretty pool and a central thatched restaurant. There is also camping space, and the lodge is well known for its massage treatments. Another world altogether from the frenetic La Selva Central towns nearby.

La Merced–San Ramón minibuses run past the entrance.
