Casa Matsiguenka

Amazon Basin

Built in traditional style by the Matsiguenka tribespeople, this 19-room rustic lodge is the deepest into the reserved zone of any, on the other side of serene Cocha Salvador. Money spent here goes in part to the Matsiguenka. Several tour operators factor in stays here on their range of tours, almost always in combination with another lodge closer to Cuzco.

Operators staying here include Bonanza Tours.
