Accessed via a green gate at the end of Jirón José Olaya, the Morales has been so successful that it recently commissioned a large but architecturally thoughtful extension. Its large rooms jump out at you with pinewood furnishings and an orange-yellow color scheme and there’s a terrace where you can contemplate your cooked-to-order breakfast eggs over a dozen Andean peaks.
The Morales’ trump card is its amiable and knowledgeable staff who are happy to provide little extras like free bus station pick-up, same-day laundry service and help with tours and flights.
