Hotel Colomba

Hidden behind a high wall in a scruffy part of town, the Colomba is Huaraz' surprise package, a green oasis replete with compulsively trimmed hedges, neatly mowed lawns and a long colonnaded veranda. Rooms are comfy, if a little old-fashioned, secure parking is included and the sprawling gardens conceal a kids’ playground with a climbing wall.
