A kind of cross between a hostal (guesthouse) and hostel, the 'Backpacker' is run by the same family as the wonderful El Jacal Classic, meaning you get warm welcomes, ultraclean rooms and simple but very comfortable decor. There are dorm rooms available here, but also some doubles with private bathroom, plus a lovely lounge, modern kitchen and free parking.
