With Coke-bottle glass windows, plaid bedspreads and cherry-red brick walls, the Benkawasi has a kind of '70s mountain chalet feel to it. It's not the most deluxe abode, but even if the furnishings are old and unfashionable, they're clean. The owner and his English-speaking Peruvian-Lebanese wife are young and fun, and there's a distracting ping-pong table in the lobby.
Dorm rooms are a good deal.
