It's not significantly more 'eco' than other lodges, but this beauty on the Río Marañón is significantly flashier. Shiny, dark-wood 56 sq meter cabins, with cotton-sheeted king beds, futons, huge windows and balconies, form part of an exquisite thatched complex – which also has a restaurant, bar and inviting swimming pool. Activities, including crash courses in local botany, get good reports.
