La Casa de Sillar

Another of those thick-walled colonial mansions made – as the name implies – out of sillar (white volcanic rock) hewn from El Misti, this one doesn’t pretend to be boutique, but it does offer fine value. Rooms are spacious yet warm and have comfortable beds. Huge maps and an equally huge TV adorn a communal lounge.
