Athenaeum

Panama City

Located within the City of Knowledge, the old Clayton cinema is one of the city’s best examples of 'Bellavistina' architecture, a Hispanic neo-classical style popular in the Bella Vista neighborhood of the capital. Originally built in 1935 by the US Army, it was restored in 2010 and is now a cultural center with occasional film showings and performance-art projects.
