This much-lauded restaurant next to the ferry dock on Malakal Island is a winner, thanks to its breezy verandah with great bay views, eclectic menu and jovial atmosphere. Dishes on offer might include blackened sashimi, BBQ banana-wrapped fish, and pumpkin schnitzel (a delicious vegetarian dish). The bar here is a lively meet-and-greet zone and stays open until 2am.
There's a great selection of beers – it helps that the owner is German.
