Hajar Mountains

This unlikely campground at the entrance to the village doubles as a restaurant at weekends. Buffets include Omani rice and Indian dishes. Sleep off supper by pitching a tent (own/hired OR2/5) in the minimal but thankfully level grounds. Blankets are available, and there's hot water in the shared shower block. The site also has clean toilets (200 baisa for nonguests).
