The ever-friendly Ibri Oasis Hotel is on the Buraimi side of town. With a marble staircase, stained-glass windows and clean rooms, the hotel is mainly used by those in transit or on R&R from the oil fields. The spic-and-span restaurant serves English breakfasts and Indian cuisine at tidy little tables with cloths. The bar is a popular (largely male) haunt.
