Encompassing a large tract of flat open space, ringed with magnificent mature juniper trees, this area makes a perfect wild campground. It neighbours the Sultan's experimental farm, where prize pomegranates are grown (harvested between August to October). The site is busy at weekends with local families who picnic around the edge of the space. There are no shops or facilities here.
The juniper trees are more than 100 years old and grow to 18m in height. The berries are harvested between March and June.
