Lusty Beg Island

This private island retreat, reached by ferry (use a telephone at the dock) from a jetty halfway along Boa Island, has self-catering cabins and chalets that sleep two to six people, as well as B&B rooms in its rustic 40-room courtyard block. There's a spa and swimming pool, tennis court, nature trail and canoeing on the lough for guests.

Lusty Beg's informal restaurant is open to all.
