El Greko

North Macedonia

This taverna and pizzeria with pavement space on Bitola's main pedestrianised strip has a great beer-hall ambience and a menu geared towards comfort food (there's nothing particularly Greek about it).

If you can't get a table outside, the other pizzeria opposite is similarly good. Both places heave with locals and tourists from mid-afternoon until late in the evening.
