This rocking backpacker haunt devoted to Bob Marley is the most lively of the budget places on Cocal Beach. The basic but brightly painted cabañas are a little rough and vary in quality, with some getting far more breeze, so have a look around. The rooms with shared bathrooms are cheaper but not very spacious.
Fortunately the onsite bar-restaurant is a fine place to hang out, as are the little waterside huts and hammocks. Management organizes its own snorkeling trips for US$20.
