La Labranza

Best known locally as the birthplace of poet and revolutionary hero Leonel Rugama (to whom there is a small monument here), this small village has some good homestays and is convenient to some fine forest hiking trails. On Sundays, local men converge on La Labranza to play baseball in their pristine kits, a social highlight of Miraflor and great fun to watch.
