Every destination has a collection of stories to tell, and while some are apparent and noticeable, others lie hidden, waiting to be discovered. Photographer Janine Pendleton has spent a significant amount of time uncovering and documenting some of the most interesting abandoned spaces in Pennsylvania, with the images having recently been collected in an eye-catching book. From forgotten theatres to neglected steam locomotives, the photos grant a fascinating insight into what we leave behind. The book also charts the history behind 21 disused locations across the state.
